DU’IT Hand and Facial Moisturiser Review
It’s no secret that I suffer from really dry skin, my hands suffering the most. During my research into the best way to manage this it has become clear that dry hands are extremely common amongst Mums. The constant nappy changes, clean up’s of food, dribble, snot plus all the other general household duties leads too us having to wash our hands A LOT! Add to this the harsh chemicals that are so often a main ingredient in the average hand soap and it’s no wonder our skin suffers so much.
This month I was offered the opportunity to trial and review 2 products from DU’IT. The Tough Hands For Her Intensive Skin Repair and VE+ Face cream. These seemed like a perfect fit for me so I happily agreed and was super impressed with the results I got!

The Tough Hands for Her Intensive Skin Repair has been created for dry, irritated hands. Once applied it absorbs straight in and creates a non-greasy barrier. This is what I love most as not only is it locking moisture in but also protecting your skin from anything that it comes in contact with.
According to the directions on the tube you first need to apply the cream 2 or 3 times daily to clean, dry skin and also at bedtime for 7 days. After that you can just use it as you need. I now just apply at bedtime or whenever my skin is starting to get that tight, dry feeling or starting to look a bit red.
One more huge bonus for me with this cream is that it doesn’t contain Lanolin, Parabens, Mineral Oil, Petroleum or Propylene Glycol – all which are harmful to our skin and/ or health.
The VE+ Face Cream is a high concentration Vitamin E cream. Vitamin E is essential for our skin as it helps prevent premature ageing, keeps it hydrated and helps protect against sun damage. I often have break outs of dry patches around my forehead, between my eyebrows and along my jaw line, especially if I have been a bit heavy on the make up. Now, I slather this cream on before I apply my foundation, as soon as I remove my make up and again in the morning after washing my face. Doing this has definitely helped reduce the dry, flaky patches.
I love that you only need a tiny bit at a time of this cream and it can be used as often as needed as it’s not at all thick or heavy.
