A dishmatic is a sponge on a handle. You can fill the handle full of washing up liquid. This means you don't have to fill up the sink wasting water.

I have got to be one of the few people left in Australia that doesn’t own a dishwasher. We are renting and have no space to put one in so just have to go without.

This wasn’t too much of an issue when it was just the hubby and I but now we have a teenager, 5 year old and 3 year old it’s a nightmare. I’m yet to meet anyone who enjoys washing up and I am definitely no exception – I HATE IT! Especially now I have to do it at least 3 times a day.

However, I have found something that does make it a lot easier and more efficient.

Introducing Dishmatic – tada!!

A dishmatic is a sponge on a handle. You can fill the handle full of washing up liquid. This means you don't have to fill up the sink wasting water.

A dishmatic is essentially a sponge on a handle. What makes it so special though is the fact that you can fill the handle full of washing up liquid. This means if you only have one or two dishes to wash you don’t have to fill up the sink wasting water but instead wash the dishes using the sponge and just a small amount of water.

You also have the option of buying new sponge refills in a 3 different textures.

Yellow/ White or Blue – Non Scratch

Green – General Purpose

Black – Extra Heavy Duty

I find the Green is suitable for pretty much everything and use this 99% of the time.

For a limited time Dishmatic have bought out a Pink handled brush with pink sponge in support of Breast Cancer. These are in stores now so be sure to hurry to still grab yours!

You can find Dishmatic in Woolworths, Coles, IGA and Big W.
