As a parent, you want to make sure you are giving your baby the very best start to life. It’s why you research everything from the best baby food to pre-schools, the best baby books to the pros and cons of swaddling. But have you given much thought to how you are washing your baby’s clothes? Your baby’s skin is very sensitive and needs much gentler care than your own. Typical laundry detergents can be more harmful than good. That’s why we’d recommend you use organic soapberries to wash your baby’s clothes.

Here are just seven reasons why organic soapberries are best for your baby.

Chemical-free

Laundry detergents are often made up of harsh or man-made chemicals that are tough on our skin. Your baby’s skin is soft, gentle and not used to such rough treatment; there’s a reason babies have such beautiful skin – it’s all-natural! If you want to keep your baby’s skin that way, organic soapberries are the way to go.

Hypo-allergenic

If your baby is suffering from any skin ailments such as eczema, psoriasis or allergies, organic soapberries will ease the affliction and prevent it from spreading. They are hypo-allergenic and therefore the best way to keep your baby’s clothes and blankets clean and hygienic without damaging your baby’s skin.

Affordable

With a little one in the house, you’re likely to find your finances are stretched a little thinner than they were. Luckily, soapberries are much more affordable and long-lasting than laundry detergents so you can save a little money each laundry day that can be put to better use.

Environmentally friendly

If you’re concerned with reducing your carbon footprint so your little one will have a better world to enjoy, soapberries are for you. Not only are soapberries a completely natural substance, but they are also very environmentally friendly. Unlike laundry detergents, they don’t require plastic packaging so are completely waste-free. On top of that, they are greywater and septic safe and completely biodegradable.

GMO-free

Organic soapberries are naturally grown rather than genetically modified. GMO crops have been linked to organ failure and other health issues so by opting for organic substances, you can protect your baby’s health.

They’re antibacterial and antifungal

While a traditional laundry detergent will simply clean your clothes of stains and smells, soapberries are antibacterial and antifungal, so can make your baby’s clothes much more hygienic and prevent your baby from getting any bacterial infections.

More comfortable for your baby

Organic soapberries will make your baby’s clothes and blankets super soft and irritant-free, which adds up to a happy, comfortable and healthy baby – pretty much all a parent can ask for! Make the switch to organic soapberries today to take better care of your baby’s skin.

If you’re a new parent, your first instinct is often to take care of your baby and provide the best possible care for them. Sometimes, we neglect ourselves in the process. Here are some additional services that will help you out no end as a new parent!

This is really interesting. I’ve heard of soap berries but have never really seen them or used them. Are they good at getting stains out?
